Third Teenager Reported Missing In Sheepshead Bay

Police are searching for a 14-year-old girl — the third teenager reported missing in Sheepshead Bay during the last week — who was last seen Monday morning in front of her home at the Nostrand Houses.

Authorities say Redacted went missing after she was spotted outside her home, near Bragg Street and Avenue V, at 9:30am. She is described as about five feet, eight inches tall, 150 pounds, with brown eyes and black hair. She was last seen wearing a gray hooded sweater, black “bubble” jacket, blue jeans and black sneakers, according to the NYPD.

Ferguson is the third teenager reported missing in Sheepshead Bay since Tuesday, March 8, when 15-year-old Redacted disappeared after being spotted outside Sheepshead Bay High School.

Another teenager, Redacted, who lives near Ocean Avenue and Avenue R, went missing on Friday.

The NYPD has not reported a connection between the disappearances. However, we reached out to the 61st Precinct this morning to find out if police are investigating whether the cases are related. We’ll update this story when we get a reply.

Anyone with information on the missing is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers hotline at 800-577-TIPS. The public can also submit their tips by logging onto the Crime Stoppers website or by texting their tips to 274637 (CRIMES) and then entering TIP577.

Update [March 16, 1pm]: The 61st Precinct says they have found no link between the missing teenagers. At least one of them, Redacted left a note for his parents saying he was running away from home, according to police.

Update [April 5, 10am]: Police informed us that all three teens,  have been found. We have redacted their names at the result.
