MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 28
Community Rezoning Presentation
When: Monday, September 28 from 6-7:30pm
Where: Pratt Institute, Higgins Hall, 65 St. James Place
What: Residents of Fort Greene and Clinton Hill can attend a presentation by Department of City Planning (DCP) staff next Monday, September 28th. The presentation will provide information on two rezoning proposals generated by the city. These include the Zoning for Quality and Affordability and Mandatory Inclusionary Housing zoning changes. The 30 minute presentation will be followed by a question and answer session, allowing attendees to ask clarifying questions or to provide comments to DCP staff.
Ingersoll Houses Tenants Association Meeting

Rooftop Yoga

Where: Brooklyn Grange Farm at Clinton and Flushing Avenues
What: Endless summer days with their long, cool evenings beg for you to stay outside until the sun goes down. Enter sunset yoga at Brooklyn Grange’s Brooklyn Navy Yard farm! Join us on the roof every Monday for some fresh air and loosen up with Sarah Schumann of Prospect Heights’ Shambhala Yoga and Dance Center. Classes will be held on our spacious paved patio at dusk, so that attendees can enjoy the herb-scented breeze as the sun sets behind the Manhattan skyline. **PLEASE NOTE: BYO Yoga mat, water bottle, and please make sure you have a photo ID for entering the yard.**

Book Talk and Tasting: Raquel Telzel presents “Toast”
When: Monday, September 28 at 7:30pm
Where: Greenlight Bookstore at 686 Fulton Street
What: As toast menus proliferate at cafes and specialty shops around the world, award-winning food writer (and Fort Greene neighbor) Raquel Pelzel presents Toast: The Cookbook, your guide to the perfect vehicle for endless fun and creativity in the kitchen. Organized by season, Toast includes recipes for breakfast treats like Smashed Tater Tots and Egg Toast; healthy snacks like Fava Smash and Shrimp Toast; and sweet sensations like Hazelnut S’More Toast. The book also includes ideas that can be made from pantry ingredients or leftovers, for a book that will appeal to new and seasoned cooks. Pelzel presents her book at Greenlight in conversation with her editor (and fellow Fort Greene resident) Emily Takoudes, and provides some some tasty treats for attendees.

Yoga for Adults

Brooklyn Grange Farm Tour
