What: Celebrate Italian Christmas with a festive, fizzy Lambrusco and two deep, structured reds from the north.
Monday Night Karaoke

Where: Brooklyn Eats on Myrtle at 474 Myrtle Avenue
What: Show off your range while hitting all the notes in your favorite song during Brooklyn Eats on Myrtle’s weekly karaoke event. Between 8pm and 11pm, enjoy food and drink while enjoying the vocal stylings of fellow locals.

Ask a Tech

What: Learn about computer hardware and software. Learn how to use the mouse, search the library website. Surf the internet and setup an email address.
Chocolate and Tea Tasting
When: Tuesday, December 22 from 11am-7pm
Where: Greene Grape Provisions at 753 Fulton Street
What: There is no shortage of good chocolate makers in the New York region, but Raaka Chocolate has won over our tastebuds with their well tempered bars made right in Red Hook. Come taste the magic for yourself from 11am-3pm, and then finish it up with a perfect cup of tea from Teapigs from 3-7pm.

What: Kids ages 8-12 practice reading aloud. Vocabulary, comprehension, pronounciation and annunciation are emphasized.
PSA3 Toy Giveaway
When: Tuesday, December 22 from 4-6pm
Where: Myrtle Avenue and Ingersoll, Whitman, and Farragut Houses
What: Members of the NYPD’s PSA# 3 housing unit will ride in a marked police van through the Fort Greene community and hand out toys to children specifically in Ingersoll, Whitman and Farragut Houses. We have toys for infants boys/girls, young boys/girls and adolescent boys/girls. Santa and Captain Minch will also be on hand.

What: Chablis & Chateauneuf-du-Pape are the stars of the night.
Vigil And Art Project For Victoria Nicodemus
When: Tuesday, December 22 at 6:30pm
Where: Outside Habana Outpost at Fulton Street and South Portland Avenue
What: A tribute to Victoria Nicodemus, the 30-year-old who was killed when a car jumped the curb at this exact spot. Her family, friends, and colleagues join elected officials and transportation advocates to remember her and launch an art installation in her memory.

DIY: Knitting and Crocheting
