Things To Do In Southern Brooklyn This Week: 18th Avenue Feast, WWE SummerSlam At MCU Park, Free Concerts & Movies
Plenty of exciting summer events in southern Brooklyn this week. Don’t miss the 18th Avenue Feast of Santa Rosalia, which begins on Thursday. There’s also free concerts in the park, movie night at Coney Island, and a softball match between the FDNY, NYPD, and WWE superstars.

Coney Island Circus Sideshow
When: Daily, 1pm – 8pm
Where: Sideshows by the Seashore, 1208 Surf Avenue
What: Coney Island is the last place in the United State where you can enjoy a ten-in-one circus sideshow. Check out thrilling performances by sword and fire swallowers, contortionists, and other entertainers who were “born different” during this one-of-a-kind production.

Brooklyn Cyclones vs. Lowell Spinners

What: WWE Superstars and Divas will be playing softball against the FDNY and NYPD before the game. Also scheduled to participate in the game are NBA Hall of Famer and current St. John’s Men’s Basketball Coach Chris Mullin, Mets Hall of Famer John Franco, Greg Kelly & Rosanna Scotto. The first 2,500 fans in attendance will go home with a Greg & Rosanna bobble head.

18th Avenue Feast of Santa Rosalia

Where: 18th Avenue, between 68th Street to 75th Street
What: This 10-day fesrival, now in its 40th year, will feature food, rides and live music. The celebration is expected to draw thousands.
