End-of-Year Party With Madison-Marine Homecrest Civic

What: The Madison-Marine-Homecrest Civic Association is holding their annual holiday party tonight, and the entire community is invited. Enjoy live music and light refreshments while rubbing shoulders with your neighbors and elected officials. There will also be a police presentation on holiday crime prevention.

Largest Toys for Tots Drive in Brooklyn

Where: 41st Assembly District Democrats Club, 2952 Avenue R
What: The 41st Assembly District Democrats Club continues to lead the pack with the city’s largest Toys for Tots Drive — collecting more than 60,000 toys for needy kids during the last decade. Light refreshments will be served and you can schmooze with your neighbors and elected officials. Visitors are encouraged to donate a toy at the event or bring a check payable to the “Be Proud Foundation” with “Toy Drive” in the memo.

Brighton Association’s Annual Holiday Party

Where: National Restaurant located at 273 Brighton Beach Avenue
What: The Brighton Neighborhood Association will hold its annual holiday party tonight. Toys will be distributed at the event and there will be a raffle with prizes for adults. There will also be face painting, dancing, and light refreshments.

Santa Claus, Cannoli & Cocoa

Where: The Kidz Cooking Studio, 7921 7th Avenue
What: Children will be dropped off at 3:30 for a fun hour with Santa, sipping cocoa, eating cannoli and warm cookies, and singing Christmas carols. Santa will read “Twas The Night Before Christmas,” and then parents will arrive at 4:30pm to take unlimited pictures. On behalf of the children, a donation of toys will be given to the Olivia Boccuzzi Foundation for children fighting cancer.

Chanukah Ice Skating with the J
When: Sunday, December 20, 4pm – 8pm
Where: Marks JCH, 7802 Bay Parkway
What: In the spirit of Chanukah, Marks JCH families will go ice skating at Brookfield’s Place on December 20th at 4pm. We are leaving Marks JCH at 4pm and plan to come back by 8pm. Enjoy a beautiful evening in downtown Manhattan ice skating and overlooking the Hudson River. A luminous light show will highlight the evening.
