Happy July 4 weekend, everyone! If you’re hanging out in the neighborhood this weekend, there’s lots for you to do, including get your lip-sync on at Sycamore, go to a barbecue on July 4, celebrate Independence Day in Prospect Park, and lots more. Thursday, July 2

Queen Cobra Thai serves up their tasty eats at Sycamore’s Flatbush Food Court, 6pm.
Ditmas Park’s only queer party at Sycamore will include bingo with Ariel Speedwagon at 8pm, an epic lip-sync marathon at 9pm and Gogo Gadget spinning music at 10pm.
The Michael Louis Band plays their bluesy, soulful rock & roll at Bar Chord, 9pm.

Friday, July 3

• Celebrate July 4 with a free barbecue at Our Lady of Refuge, 10am-4pm.
• Join the drop-in sing-along with Lucy Kalantari at Lark Café, 10 & 11am.
• Get in shape at Shape Up NYC’s free cardio toning class at Prospect Park’s Audubon Center, 12-1pm.
• Meet fellow moms and dads at the New Parent Meet-Up, Lark Cafe, 1pm.
