You can enjoy Haitian Flag Day & Heritage Month events or feel all warm and fuzzy at Prospect Park’s Fleece Festival, Bike the Branches and stop by Butterflies, Bulbs & Bookmarks, or swap and shop, and help a local bar celebrate one year in business. Oh, and watch out for road closures due to the Brooklyn Half Marathon, will you?
Thursday, May 15
• No Place on Earth, the true story of nearly 40 people who survived WWII by hiding in a Ukranian cave (and how cave diver Chris Nicola discovered their existence), is playing–and Chris Nicola will be there to answer questions–at the Flatbush Jewish Center, 6:30pm.
