This week! So many things are happening – you can get your taco on at Sycamore tonight (and if you’re a virgo, you’ll get a free Texas chocolate sheet cake and Mexican cola), hang with your kids while listening to music at Lark Café, see some comedy or live music at Bar Chord, and more. Monday, September 15

• Neighbor Libby Parsons will debut her taco venture, “La Chiflada: ¡Que Fancy Tex-Mex!” at Sycamore, where she’ll be selling tacos al pastor, fried avocado tacos, and borracho beans for the bar’s monthly zodiac party (lucky virgos will get free Texas chocolate sheet cake and Mexican cola), 6:30pm.
• Check out the weekly Shape Up NYC Couch to 5k Group Run, meeting at the Lefferts Historic House, 7pm.
• Work in a neighborhood bar or restaurant? Come take advantage of drink specials at Industry Night, 773 Lounge, 9pm.
Going to Hell Comedy is at Bar Chord, 9pm.

Tuesday, September 16

• There’s a drop-in sing-along with Dan Loomis at Lark Cafe, 9am.
• Join the drop-in sing-along with Miss Katie at Lark Cafe, 11am.
• Babies, from age 0 to 18 months, and their parents/caregivers are welcome to join Babies and Books at Cortelyou Library, 11:15am.
• Come sing and dance with Amy Miles at Lark Cafe, 4pm.
• Children ages 6 and up are invited to have fun at the Explore & Create event at the Cortelyou Library, 4pm.
• Connect with your neighbors at the Prospect Park South Networking Night at Lark Cafe, 6:30pm-8pm
Join the Brooklyn Front Runners (a multi-sport club for LGBT and LGBT-friendly athletes) for a run at Prospect Park every Tuesday evening, 7pm.
• Join the Brooklyn Public Philosophers for their first meeting of the year at the Grand Army Plaza branch (in the Info Commons Lab) of the Brooklyn Public Library, 7pm.
Honky Tonk & Ladytown perform with special guests at Bar Chord, 9pm.

Wednesday, September 17

• Attend a sing-along with neighbor Debbie Deane at Lark, 10am.
• Teens can learn about PS3 gaming at the Cortelyou Library, 4pm.
• Neighbors are invited to a meeting at Ditmas Junior High School about traffic safety on Ocean Parkway, 6:30pm.
• John Pinamonti performs his American Roots music at Bar Chord, 9pm.
