Things To Do In Ditmas Park This Week
The week is off to a beautiful start, and it should be nice and crisp the next several days–so keep warm with an exercise class, a cup of coffee, or some live music and a pint.
Monday, October 14
- Sign up beforehand for a P90x class at Ditmas Fitness Studio, 6:45pm.
- Reserve a spot ahead of time for Zumba, also at DF Studio, 8pm.
- Cooper Heffley is back at Bar Chord, 9pm.
Tuesday, October 15
- Take a moment and join the Ditmas Park Mindfulness Group at Lark, 7:30-8am.
- Percussionist Tony Hdez hosts a $5 Cuban drumming class for kids six and under, 9-9:45am.
- Babies and books storytime is at the Cortelyou Library, 10:30am.
- Kids can join Miss Katie for a $5 music class at Lark, 11am.
- Sustainable Flatbush‘s Healing Herb Garden open hours are Tues-Fri, 4pm-6pm.
- Sign up beforehand for Dancing Daisies (for kids) at Ditmas Fitness Studios, 5:15pm.
- … or Pilates (for adults), also at Ditmas Fitness Studios, 6:45pm.
Wednesday, October 16
- Sign up beforehand for Stroller Sculpting at Ditmas Fitness Studios, 9am.
- Lend the Wednesday Corps a hand at Prospect Park (call 718-287-3400 for location), 11am.
- Get some help with your resume at the Cortelyou Library at 3:30pm.
- Teens can learn about PS3 gaming at the Cortelyou Library, 4-5pm.
- More Cuban drumming, this time $10 for kids 7-15, at Lark, 4pm.
- Prepare for your U.S. Citizenship exam at the library, 5-6pm.
- Attend a Community Environment Committee meeting at the CB14 District Office, 7pm.
- Then sit in on an English conversation group, also at the library, 6-8pm.
- Sign up ahead of time for Pilates at DF Studio, 8:15pm.
- Paul Laplaca covers classics from the 1950s til today at 773 Lounge, 10pm.
