Monday, May 13
- Kids can take free tennis lessons courtesy of NYJTL, PS 249, Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 3-6pm.
- Kids five and under are invited to story time at the Cortelyou Library, 4pm.
- The Rolie Polie Guacamole sing-along returns to Lark, 4:15pm.
- Attend the CB14 Monthly Meeting at Edward Murrow High School (1600 Ave. L between E 15th and E 17th Sts.), 7:30pm.
- The Max Johnson Trio and the Rob Brown Quartet play the Radio Zero Series, Sycamore, 8pm.
Tuesday, May 14
- Sit zazen at Third Root, 5:55-7:10am.
- Join Mike “The Ballooniac” Gold for his Silly Sing-Along, Lark, 10-11am.
- Visit Pre-School Storytime at Midwood Martial Arts, 10:15 and 11:15am.
- Attend the Lily Pond Concert Series at Brooklyn College, 12-1pm.
- Donate to the Memorial Day blood drive at the 70th Precinct (154 Lawrence Ave. between E 2nd St. and Ocean Pkwy), 12:30-6pm.
- Stop by Sustainable Flatbush‘s Healing Herb Garden for open hours, 2103 Kenmore Terrace by E 21st St., Tuesday-Friday from 4pm-6pm.
- Attend Why Is NYPD Violence on the Rise? at the Flatbush Reformed Church, 7pm.
- Brooklyn’s own Fayaway plays a release show for their new album, Sycamore, 9pm.
Wednesday, May 15
- Attend a Composers Concert at Brooklyn College Studio 312, 5-6:30am.
- Whip out your best moves with Gillad Khalifa and Yoni the Puppet at the Disco Time Singalong, Cortelyou Library, 10:30am.
- Rock out with The Dad Beats, Lark, 11am.
- Lend the Wednesday Corps a hand at the Prospect Park Audubon Center, 11am-2pm.
- Preschool story time is at the Cortelyou Library, 2:45pm.
- Consult a resume coach at the Cortelyou Library, 3:30-4:30pm.
- Attend a Shavuot Cheesecake, Ice Cream, and Blintzes Party at Chabad of Ditmas Park, (550 Ocean Pkwy), 5:30pm.
- The Sycamore Stories series returns, downstairs at Sycamore, 7pm.
