Things For Kids To Do In Southern Brooklyn: ‘Frozen’ Screening, Track & Field Workshop & A Magic Show

Courtesy of magician Michael Lee.

Summer is in full swing and with 90-degree days in the forecast, so is the hunt for indoor activities. Thankfully, cooling down at the movies just got a little easier on the wallet with the start of Summer Movies Express at UA Sheepshead — every week, you can catch a different movie for only $1. On Wednesday afternoon, journey to Arendelle with Elsa and Anna during a free showing of “Frozen” at New Utrecht Library. Then, on Thursday, prepare to be amazed by magician Michael Lee at Ryder Library. Keep the kids active with tennis workshops at McDonald Park and Track & Field basics at Kaiser Park, and if your kids still have more energy to run out, sign them up for Get Up & Go, a kids fitness program at Seth Low Park and Calvert Vaux Park.
