Looking for something to do with the whole family this week? There are a lot of great kid-friendly events coming up in Brooklyn, and we’ve selected some of our favorites. See the full details below!

DIY Zipper Bracelets
When: Wednesday, September 23, 3-4pm
Where: New Utrecht Library, 1743 86th Street, Bensonhurst
What: Hang out and craft some of these colorful, surprising bracelets.

Read! Write! Create! Comic Book Making Workshop
When: Wednesday, September 23, 3:30-4:30pm
Where: Coney Island Library, 1901 Mermaid Avenue
What: A cool literacy program for kids ages 5-12 where they learn to make comic books.
How Much: Free!

DIY Mexican Art
When: Thursday, September 24, 3:15-4:15pm
Where: Dyker Library, 8202 13th Avenue, Dyker Heights
What: Here’s a fun one for teens, where they can make some friends as they learn about and try to make art in the style famous Mexican artists like Frida Khalo and Diego Rivera.
How Much: Free!

RIF
When: Friday, September 25, 3-5pm
Where: Gravesend Library, 303 Avenue X
What: Inspire a love a reading in kids ages 17 and younger — all they need to participate is a library card, which is free!
How Much: Free!

Friends Book Sale And Flea Market
When: Saturday, September 26, 10am-4pm
Where: Sheepshead Bay Library, 2636 East 14th Street
What: If you have a voracious little reader at home, you’ll want to stock up on all kinds of books — all of which will be priced between $1-$3. Plus, you can feel good about buying a lot, as all of the proceeds will go toward supporting the library.
How Much: Free to attend.

Halloween Harvest
When: Saturdays & Sundays, September 26-November 1, opens at 12pm
Where: Luna Park, 1000 Surf Avenue, Coney Island
What: Celebrate the seasons with storytelling, pumpkin picking, balloon art, crafts, s’mores, a doggie costume parade, karaoke, and more.
How Much: Free!

Toddler Time
When: Friday, September 25, 3-5pm
Where: Kings Bay Library, 3650 Nostrand Avenue, Sheepshead Bay
What: Kids between the ages of 18 months and 3 years will enjoy hearing picture books read aloud — plus, look out for singing, dancing, and more during this fun socialization time.
