Thursday, January 8

Learn how to become a volunteer at I.S. 62 during an orientation at the school, 6:30pm.
• Dream of warmer weather with surfing videos and Caribbean food at Sycamore’s The Lodge, 8pm.
• A Midwinter Bacchanal features the music of jazz guitarist Gabor Szabo at Bar Chord, 9pm.

Friday, January 9

• Join the drop-in sing-alongs with Lloyd H. Miller at Lark Café, 10 & 11am.
• Free yoga class for people of all ages and levels at the Cortelyou Library, 10:15-11:15am.
• Adults are invited to brush up on their computer skills at the Cortelyou Library’s free workshop, 11am.
• Come to Prospect Park’s Audubon Center for a free cardio toning class, 12pm.
• Meet fellow moms and dads at the New Parent Meet-Up, Lark, 1pm.
• Kids can attend Blooming Naturalists  at the Prospect Park’s Audubon Center, 1-2pm Thursdays and Fridays.
