Happy Friday, everyone! This weekend, you can get your 2015 going with a free music lesson at Ezra Guitar’s open house, treats for you and your pups at FIDO in Prospect Park’s free Coffee Bark, new farmers at the Cortelyou Greenmarket, and lots more:

Friday, January 2

Check out Happy Hour cocktail recipes at T.B. Ackerson Wine Merchants, 6-8pm.
• Get your heart rate up and explore the neighborhood with Ditmas Rides, meeting in front of the Cortelyou Library at 7pm.
• Looking for a fun & safe environment for your child while you do your shopping, go out to dinner, or catch up with friends? Latin Fever will provide your child with fun-filled activities, games, movies and more. $35 for 2.5 hours and snacks or $15 for one hour. 7:30-10pm.
• La Madrugada performs at Bar Chord, 9pm.
Rahlou is at Sycamore, 10pm.

Saturday, January 3

• Bring your pups to FIDO in Prospect Park’s free Coffee Bark, which will include free goodies for dogs and their owners, as well as information about off-leash activities and issues. At Prospect Park’s Long Meadow, near the Picnic House, 7-9am.
• Take a free music lesson & more at Ezra Guitar’s open house, 10am-4pm.
• Lavender Blues Sing-Along at Lark Cafe, 10 & 11am.
• Try some scrumptious food and drinks at Sycamore’s Flatbush Food Court, 2-8pm every Saturday and Sunday.
Gillian Harwin plays her folky, funky, R&B stew at Bar Chord, 9pm.

Sunday, January 4

Welcome W. Rogowski Farm (and check out all the fresh veggies, fruit, and more) at the Cortelyou Greenmarket (Cortelyou between Argyle and Rugby), 8am-3pm.
• Kids yoga with Jen at Lark Café, 10am.
Join the Brooklyn Bird Club for a free early morning bird walk, which leaves from Prospect Park’s Audubon Center at 10am.
• Join Amy Miles for a sing-along at Lark Café, 11am.
• Try some scrumptious food and drinks at Sycamore’s Flatbush Food Court, 2-8pm every Saturday and Sunday.
• Cortelyou Jazz Jam at Bar Chord, 9pm.
