We know – it’s Monday and cold and gross out. But! There’s much happening in the neighborhood to take your mind off all of that, including a CB 14 meeting, the Other Half Brewery pouring rare releases at Sycamore, Black History Month Jeopardy at the Cortelyou Library, and lots more:

Monday, February 9

• Check out the weekly Shape Up NYC Couch to 5k Group Run, meeting at the Lefferts Historic House, 7pm.
• Learn about what’s going on in the area at the monthly Community Board 14 meeting, 7:30pm.
• Go old school at Sycamore’s VHS Mondays, 8pm.
Going to Hell Comedy is at Bar Chord, 9pm.

Tuesday, February 10

• Join the drop-in sing-along with Miss Katie at Lark Cafe, 11am.
• Kids and teens are invited to play Black History Month Jeopardy at the Cortelyou Library, 4-5pm.
• Attention beer lovers! Meet the brewers from Other Half, who will be pouring rare releases and special brews at Sycamore, 6pm.
Join the Brooklyn Front Runners (a multi-sport club for LGBT and LGBT-friendly athletes) for a run at Prospect Park every Tuesday evening, 7pm.
• Win a $60 bar tab during Highbury Pub’s trivia night, 9pm.
Old Time Musketry blends the spirit of early jazz, soulful rock grooves and energetic spontaneous improvisation at Bar Chord, 9pm.

Wednesday, February 11

• A gentle yoga class each Wednesday at the Church of the Nativity (1099 Ocean Avenue, by Farragut) will include stretching, strengthening, and breathing deeply, and the instructor noted it’s good for those with arthritis, hypertension, diabetes, or just regular aches and pains. $10 suggested donation, 10:30am.
• Join the sing-along with Debbie Deane at Lark Café, 11am.
• Stay true to that New Year’s resolution to get fit and attend the Falundafa exercise class at Cortelyou Library, 1:30-2:30pm.
• Children in first through eighth grades can get help on their homework at the Cortelyou Library, 3-4:30pm.
• Get some exercise at the Shape-Up NYC: Cardio & Toning class at Prospect Park’s Audubon Center (please bring your own workout mat), 6-7m.
Sycamore’s The Lodge presents its Classic Match Wednesday, when it will air sports games on its big screen TV and serve up food from Johnny Lupiani’s, 8pm.

• Two-for-one whiskey night at the Highbury Pub, 9pm.
