This week, you can take a break from all that holiday shopping and celebrate the launch of The Lodge at Sycamore with food and homemade hot chocolate from Gaddy Lane; see live music at Lark Café and Bar Chord, and more:

Monday, December 22

• Check out the weekly Shape Up NYC Couch to 5k Group Run, meeting at the Lefferts Historic House, 7pm.
• Try out food from Gaddy Lane, drink hot chocolate & more at the launch of The Lodge at Sycamore, 6-11pm.
• Andrew Lowden performs at Bar Chord, 9pm.

Tuesday, December 23

• Join the drop-in sing-along with Miss Katie at Lark Cafe, 11am.
• It’s Babies and Books time at the Cortelyou Library, 11:15am-12pm.
• Kids ages 6-12 are invited to play Jeopardy at the Cortelyou Library, 4-5pm.
Join the Brooklyn Front Runners (a multi-sport club for LGBT and LGBT-friendly athletes) for a run at Prospect Park every Tuesday evening, 7pm.
• Play bingo, celebrate the final night of Hanukkah and more at The Lodge at Sycamore, 8pm.
• Win a $60 bar tab during Highbury Pub’s trivia night, 9pm.
Miss Tess‘ Tuesday Night Residency is back with groovy, modern and vintage music at Bar Chord, 9pm.

Wednesday, December 24

• A gentle yoga class each Wednesday at the Church of the Nativity (1099 Ocean Avenue, by Farragut) will include stretching, strengthening, and breathing deeply, and the instructor noted it’s good for those with arthritis, hypertension, diabetes, or just regular aches and pains. $10 suggested donation, 10:30am.
• Two-for-one whiskey night at the Highbury Pub, 9pm.
