Thieving Fashionista Ordered More Than $9K From Barneys On Victim’s Card

Cops are asking for help finding a thief that they say charged $9,200 worth of stuff from the Barneys website to her victim’s card.

On May 24, at about 9:45am, a 37 year-old woman left her purse on the back of her chair at Annex Cafe (753 Fulton Street) when the suspect swiped the victim’s wallet, according to the NYPD.

Authorities say the wallet had about $20 as well as the victim’s credit cards. The cards were used to make $9,200 worth of purchases on Barneys.com, according to police..

The suspect is described by police as a woman in her 20s. She was last seen wearing a pink hat, gray sweater, and gray pants according to cops.
