Thief Grabs Wallet Containing $1,700 In Cash From Floor At T.G.I Friday’s

Cops are searching for a man who allegedly snatched a wallet containing $1,700 in cash after a diner dropped it on the floor at the Sheepshead Bay T.G.I. Friday’s last month, PIX 11 reports.

Authorities told the news station a 32-year-old man was having dinner at the restaurant, which overlooks Plumb Beach Channel, at around 10:30pm on Thursday, February 11. When he stood up from his chair, his wallet fell on the floor and got picked up by another person at the restaurant. The wallet reportedly contained $1,700 in cash, the victim’s ID and credit cards.

The NYPD released a surveillance photo of the suspect.
