‘The Knick’ Is Filming In Park Slope Next Week
The corner of 7th Avenue and St Johns Place may look a little old-school — really old-school — next week as the upcoming TV series The Knick is scheduled to film there on Thursday, November 14.
The 10-episode Cinemax series, about a hospital staff that pushes the bounds of medicine (like “ER: 1900”?), is directed by Steven Soderbergh and stars Clive Owen. It’s been shooting this week in the Lower East Side, which was completely transformed to New York in the early 1900s.
If they do set up such an incredible set, they should just be careful someone is minding their old-timey stuff, since some things reportedly got stolen from the set of Orange Is The New Black while it filmed on the same block last week.
You’ll need to move your cars from the block by 7pm on Wednesday, November 13. If you find your car has been relocated, contact Victoria at 917-407-0832.
