“The Intern” Never Stops Filming In Park Slope, Coming To More Blocks This Weekend

The film The Intern, directed by Nancy Meyers and starring Robert De Niro and Anne Hathaway, looks like it’s going to be a very Park Slope-centric movie, as we spotted even more signs for filming coming up this weekend, and filming is underway today around 7th Avenue.

Signs along Park Place between 6th and 7th Avenues note cars need to be moved by Friday, September 26 at 7pm, and that they’ll be filming on both Saturday and Sunday. If you find your car has been relocated, contact Nils at 917-568-1260.

Meanwhile on 7th Avenue, which has hosted De Niro and co. previously, the old GameStop has been transformed into a yoga studio — but, as the crew setting it up yesterday told us and many other curious neighbors, it’s just for the movie. So if you noticed the new Prospect Yoga at 153 7th Avenue, between Garfield and Carroll, don’t stop in with a mat, but do look out for Bobby D’s downward dog.

If you see any other transformed stores, or spot some of the cast, send pics our way at editor@bklyner.com and we’ll post them on the site!
