‘The Intern’ Films On 7th Ave Again This Week

We kid you not: The film The Intern, directed by Nancy Meyers and starring Robert De Niro and Anne Hathaway, continues shooting this week in our area.

The crew was first here to film back in June, when neighbors saw De Niro shooting scenes along 7th Avenue. Then earlier this month they returned, filming on 8th Avenue, then in front of a fake yoga studio on 7th, then on Park Place, then 5th Avenue, and, well, it just never seems to stop.

This round will take over 7th Avenue from Flatbush to St John’s, as well as on Park Place between 6th and 7th. Cars need to be moved from those blocks by Tuesday, October 7 at 10pm for the shoot, which will run all day on Wednesday, October 8.
