The Greenmarket Report: Flowers, Fix-Its & Free Sauce
Spring is in the air at our local markets this weekend!
At the Grand Army Plaza Greenmarket on Saturday, March 8, be on the lookout for potted daffodils, tulips, and more bright spring flowers at Phillips Farm. And don’t forget, if you’ve got something small that needs fixing, like a lost button or a lose belt buckle, bring it to the folks from Pop Up Repair, who will be on site to help for free from 8:30am-2pm!
Then on Sunday, March 9 at the Park Slope Farmers Market, stop by the Calcutta Kitchens table to take home a sample of their next sauce, which they hint will be “a delectable, mild coconut sauce.”
The Grand Army Plaza Greenmarket runs Saturdays from 8am-4pm at Grand Army Plaza. The Park Slope Farmers Market runs Sundays from 10am-4pm along 4th Street at 5th Ave.
