The Final Flatbush Junction Youth Market Is Tomorrow

This Saturday will be your last chance (for this year) to check out all the fresh fruits and veggies at the Flatbush Junction Youth Market , which is held from 10am-4pm at the Flatbush Junction Triangle at 1545 Flatbush Avenue.

Hosted by GrowNYC Greenmarket, Councilman Jumaane Williams, East Flatbush Village, and the Flatbush-Junction BID, the market has, in addition to fruits and vegetables, artisan breads, pastries from Ulster County, dairy and cheddar cheese from Millport Dairy, beef, pickles, eggs, and baked goods.

During the market, interns from Councilman Williams’ office will be passing around petitions to expand the Flatbush Junction Youth Green Market so the event can occur every Saturday next summer. For more information about the market, contact Farah Louis, Director of Community Outreach for Council Member Williams at (718) 629-2900 or GrowNYC’s Kori Petrovic at (212) 788-7900.
