The 6th Annual Prospect Park Tennis Tournament

Outdoor tennis in August can be one of two things. On dog days, the game is military-grade torture. On nicer days, it’s really a beautiful sport, only cruel and unusual if you’re overmatched. Tennis is a perfect September sport.

The forecast for the tail end of summer is very promising. Someone knock on wood. As outdoor tennis comes to an end at the Prospect Park Tennis Center (the last day is October 7), it’s a good time to get outside and play. You can grab a court anytime at the center and casual games are a fun way to spend a couple of hours. However, if you’re looking for the religious tennis experience, the competitive game is the house of worship.

The 6th Annual Prospect Park Tennis Tournament is running from Saturday, September 8 to Sunday, September 23.
