Tell CB 14 What Projects You Want Funded In Ditmas Park

What projects would you like to see funded in our area? Something for the library? Our schools? Something else?

Whatever it is, Community Board 14 wants to hear from you about it!

Each year, in accordance with the city charter, all 59 community boards in the five boroughs are required to submit recommendations for the city’s capital and expense budgets for the following fiscal year (in this case, fiscal year 2017). If you have any suggestions you’d like to see funded in Ditmas Park — or elsewhere in CB 14’s coverage area (which you can see here), please submit your recommendations using the forms you can find here.

Your proposals should be only for new services or capital projects. Requests for improvements to ongoing programs or regular city services — such as new street signs, building inspections, park maintenance, road repairs, or tree pruning, for example — should go through the CB 14 district office staff. You can contact CB 14 by calling 718-859-6357 or emailing info@cb14brooklyn.com.

Recommendation forms must be received no later than Friday, September 11 to be considered at CB 14’s public hearing on the budget proposals, which will be held on Monday, September 21 at Edward R. Murrow High School (1600 Avenue L).
