Take the Flatbush Artists Studio Tour This May

The third Flatbush Artists Studio Tour is coming up on Saturday, May 19 and Sunday, May 20, 12-6pm both days. It’s a unique opportunity to meet with local artists, see their work, see demonstrations, and buy some pieces:

Many of the studios will host more than one artist. The range of both art and artists is diverse and includes acrylic and oil painting, carved sculpture from fallen neighborhood trees, drawings, mixed media, collage, polished abstract frescoes, photography representing a variety of styles and subject matter, Japanese ink brush painting and artisanal jewelry made from precious metals, gems and ethnic beads.

A map of the artists’ studios is available online here, and you’ll also be able to pick them up at businesses along Cortelyou Road.
