Take In Music & Visuals By Brooklyn Artists April 12 At The Prospect Range

KWT residents are invited to an experimental show featuring Brooklyn artists Lazurite, Dane Patterson, Luciernaga, Xanthocephalus, and Sarah Halpern at The Prospect Range (1226 Prospect Avenue between Vanderbilt Street and Reeve Place) this Saturday, April 12, at 8pm.

Lazurite’s Megan Moncrief will be exhibiting her electronic and synth-heavy music and video projects, while Dane Patterson will be playing electronic music that makes more use of percussion and voice; Luciernaga’s Joao M. Da Silva will be playing surreal, textural music, while Russ Alderson of Xanthocephalus’ music focuses more on percussion and bass guitar. Finally, Sarah Halpern will be showing some of her film, performance, paper, and musical works.

The event, organized by Da Silva’s Fabrica Records and Alderson’s Aldertone Productions, is open to all ages, and admission is $5–so stroll on over and take in some art in your backyard.
