Hebrew Charter School Coming to Sheepshead Bay
Tomorrow the New York City Department of Education and the New York State Board
of Regents will receive an application for the establishment of the Hebrew
Language Academy Charter School. If approved, the school could open in Fall
2009. Philanthropist Michael Steinhardt, who also helped found the Birthright
Israel program
