Swiss Chard Reigns Supreme At PS 295 Market This Week
Don’t let Thursday afternoon’s chance of showers cause you to miss the PS 295 Farmers Market (19th Street, between 6th and 7th Avenue). In addition to a great deal on Swiss chard this week ($2 a bunch), the school is offering cherry tomatoes, corn, green beans, kale, onions, parsley, potatoes, zucchini, blueberries, cherries, peaches, plums, bacon, beef sticks, blueberry jam, dried apples, eggs, gouda cheese, honey and sausages.
If you’re in the neighborhood between 2:30pm to 4:30pm this afternoon, be sure to stop by.
