Sustainable Flatbush Composting Open Hours Change This Saturday

Compost open hours at the Sustainable Flatbush church garden will be canceled this Saturday, April 21 for Earth Day weekend and will resume the regular schedule next week. If you usually drop off your scraps at the church, an alternative is Compost For Brooklyn, which has Saturday open hours from 10am-1pm.

If you’re interested in learning more about composting and meeting some neighbors, Sustainable Flatbush is still looking for members on its composting team, where you’ll volunteer at one two-hour shift per month. If you’d like to learn more, contact Kady@sustainableflatbush.org.
