Suspects Wanted in Elevator Hold-Up

Police are asking for the public’s assistance in locating two men wanted in connection with an armed robbery in an elevator in a building on Linden Blvd near Bedford Ave on that occurred at about 2pm on Wednesday, January 9.

Video from the elevator shows the two men on the elevator with the victim, as one suspect pulls a gun on the victim, while police say the other suspect removed the victim’s cellphone and cash.

The first suspect is described as a black male between the ages of 17-22, about 5’11”, medium build, wearing a black jacket, black jeans, and white sneakers. The second suspect is described as about the same age, 5’9″, wearing a dark-colored jacket with a red hoodie underneath.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477). The public can also submit tips by logging onto the Crime Stoppers website or by texting your tips to 274637 (CRIMES) then entering TIP577. The NYPD says all calls are confidential.
