ABC 7 is reporting that five people were stabbed outside a nightclub on 64th Street and 8th Avenue early this morning.

Police reportedly responded to a call outside of the club sometime after 3 am Monday.

From ABC:

Two people were transported to Lutheran Medical Center in critical condition.
One person was taken to Lutheran Medical Center in serious condition.
Two others with serious wounds were taken to Maimonides Hospital.
One person was taken into custody.

The corner of 64th Street and 8th Avenue, situated at the end of a semi-industrial Sunset Park block made famous in the movie Saturday Night Fever (back when it was considered the ‘bad’ part of Bay Ridge), has had problems with drunken fights and late night rowdiness for decades… literally.
