Spirit Halloween Pop-Up Shop Returning To 458 5th Avenue

Halloween will be here before we know it, and whether you’re looking for ice queen Elsa or zombie paraphernalia, South Slopers won’t have to go far for supplies this year.

Chain superstore Spirit Halloween, which generally appears in the city’s vacant storefronts around Labor Day and closes in early November, is once again taking over 458 5th Avenue (between 9th and 10th Streets), most recently occupied by Dollar Plus.

Employees were seen on Tuesday setting up the new shop, and signs posted on the door said that they’re aiming for a September 1 opening.
