South Slope Weekday Events Spotlight: March 17-19
Don’t wait until this weekend for a little neighborhood fun! Here’s a few of the events that are happening in our area through Wednesday:
St. Paddy’s Day Bash With The Highland Shatners & The Star Of The County Down
When: Monday, March 17, 7pm
Where: Freddy’s, 627 5th Avenue, between 17th and 18th Streets
What: If you’re looking to celebrate Saint Patrick’s Day with some Irish folk music, look no further than Freddy’s. The Star of the County Down takes the stage at 7pm, and The Highland Shatners follow at 9pm.
How much: No cover.
Jazz Jam Sessions
When: Tuesday, March 18, 7pm to 1am
Where: The Fifth Estate, 506 5th Avenue, between 12th and 13th Streets
What: Nothing helps you wind down like a little jazz, and The Fifth Estate will have live music playing all night long.
How much: No cover.
Story Play
When: Wednesday, March 19, 1:30pm
Where: Park Slope Library, 431 6th Avenue, between 8th and 9th Streets
What: Bring the family out to the library on Wednesday afternoon for stories, games and fun with friends. Geared toward children ages birth to 3-years.
How much: Free, but tickets are required for entry (one per family), so be sure to arrive early to score your ticket.
