Don’t wait until the weekend for a little neighborhood fun! Here’s a few of  the events that are taking place in our area through Wednesday:

Vinyl And Cheap Drinks
When: Monday, January 13, all night
Where: [brookvin] 381 7th Avenue, between 11th and 12th Streets
What: It’s Monday, which can only mean one thing…it’s time to head over to [brookvin] for some vinyl and all night happy hour. We hear they even have Shiner Bock on draft now (swoon).
How much: No cover

Founders Brewing Night
When: Tuesday, January 14, 6pm to 10pm
Where: The Owl Farm, 297 9th Street, between 4th and 5th Avenues
What: Founders Brewing is in the house on Tuesday night, and The Owl Farm will have ten beers on tap. They’ll be up all day, but if you stop in from 6pm to 10pm, “they’ll all be cheap.” What’s the only thing better than cheap beer? Free beer…and they’ll be raffling off a few bottles of that, too. You can check out a tentative draft list for the night here.
How much: No cover

Story Play
When: Wednesday, January 15, 1:30pm
Where: Park Slope Library, 431 6th Avenue, between 8th and 9th Streets
What: Bring the family out to the library on Wednesday afternoon for stories, games and fun with friends. Geared toward children ages birth to 3-years.
How much: Free, but tickets are required for entry (one per family), so be sure to arrive early to score your ticket.
