South Slope Rental Roundup
In the market for a new rental? You’re in luck, because we’ve put together some of our favorite listings from the neighborhood this week. Check ‘em out and let us know what you think:
4th Avenue between 15th and 16th Street
Looking for a bright one bedroom, close to the subway? This listing by Betancourt and Associates featured a fully renovated kitchen (it’s small, but they managed to squeeze a stove, refrigerator, dishwasher, and microwave in there), granite countertops, and hardwood floors throughout. Available immediately Asking $2,200. No pups allowed, but cats are welcome.
20th Street and 4th Avenue
A few blocks down the road, we find this floor through, 2-bedroom, plus office, 1-bathroom property, listed by City Sites for only $2,000 per month. This could be a really sweet deal if you’re looking for a share, and given that City Sites rattles off the apartment’s proximity to every school under the sun in their listing, it sounds like they’re gunning for some student tenants.
4th Avenue between 19th and 20th Street
In the same area, is another 3-bedroom rental, but this one is about double the price of the last. It’s easy to see why, though. The luxury elevator building, listed by Betancourt and Associates, boasts central a/c, a doorman, 2 terraces, 2 bathrooms, walk in closets, stainless steel appliances (kitchen shown above), and hardwood floors throughout. There appear to be windows everywhere, although we’re not sure how we feel about the giant window in the bathroom. Sure you’re on the 10th floor, but wouldn’t you feel a bit exposed doing your business?
Asking $3,800. Pets are okay, with a one-time deposit.
