South Slope Rental Roundup
Who doesn’t like to occasionally dream the impossible dream? This week, we’re shaking up the real estate roundup, and searching for some of the more expensive rentals currently on the market in South Slope. If you’ve got some serious cash burning a hole in your pocket, these could be right up your alley.
First up, we’ve got an “elegant country home in the city” from Brown Harris Stevens (shown above). The 3-story, 4-bed, 2.5 bath townhouse features an open kitchen and dining area, private deck complete with English garden. A master bedroom with walk-in closet, en suite bath, and an additional living area make up the second floor, while three bedrooms and another full bath round out the top of the home. Located near Windsor Place between 7th and 8th Avenue. Asking $7,500 per month.
Next, is a 3-bed, 1-bath listing that Ideal Properties says the “previous owners must have been CRAZY to leave behind.” Featuring 3 bedrooms “fit for a king,” large living area and kitchen, oversized windows, tons of exposed brick, and a custom spiral staircase that leads to a private roof deck. Located near 13th Street between 7th and 8th Avenue. Asking $4,800 per month.
Finally, we’ve got this 2-bed, 1-bath (also from Ideal Properties) that we are super tempted to say would be worth the price for the roof deck alone. Hello peaceful retreat in the city. The inside boasts a large living area with open kitchen, exposed brick, plenty of closet space, and tons of natural light. Asking $3,500 per month.
What do you think? Are places like this worth their multi-thousand-dollar price tag?
