South Slope Rental Roundup

In the market for a new rental? You’re in luck, because we’ve put together some of our favorite listings from the neighborhood this week. Check ‘em out and let us know what you think:

16th and Prospect Avenue
Brown Harris Stevens has a beautiful 1-bedroom, 1-bath for lease near the Prospect Expressway (shown above). This 700-square-foot apartment has an open living/kitchen area that would be perfect for entertaining, new appliances (including dishwasher), a storage area large enough for two bicycles, and private outdoor space. Asking $2,200 per month.

21st Street between 4th and 5th Ave
“Location location location!! Park Slope is turning into one of the it neighborhoods in NYC and you can live in the middle of it all in this large unit.”

First of all, hasn’t Park Slope been one of the “it” neighborhoods in NYC for quite some time now? Second, one would be hard pressed to find anyone that considers 21st Street the “middle” of Park Slope. Some wouldn’t even call it the Slope, but we digress.

Real estate agent fluff aside, Citi Habitats has an interesting rental over on 21st Street. The 2-bed, 1.5-bath, ground-floor duplex has its own private outdoor space, in-unit washer and dryer, video intercom system, and lower level bonus room/office. Asking $2,750 per month. Pets are welcome.

287 11th Street
At the top of our budget this week, is an 800-square-foot, 2-bed, 1-bath on 11th Street, between 4th and 5th Ave. Listed by Space Marketing Shop, this place has a fantastic kitchen, dishwasher, in-unit washer and dryer, private outdoor space, and bike storage. Asking $2,950. Heat and gas are included.
