Shuttle Buses On The F This Weekend, But Not Much Else To Worry About

Not too bad a weekend for getting around by public transportation — which is good, because if you were thinking about driving, remember, there’s a marathon

Below you’ll find Park Slope subway changes over the weekend on the 2, 3, 4, D, F, G, N, Q, and R lines in Brooklyn. Check back here Monday to see what’s happening next week.

F Line

No F trains between Kings Highway and Stillwell Avenue. Free shuttle buses provide alternate service.
Weekend, 11:30pm Friday to 5am Monday, October 31-November 2
F service operates between 179th Street and Kings Highway. Shuttle buses run between Kings Highway and Stillwell Avenue, stopping at Avenue U, Avenue X, Neptune Avenue and West 8th Street.
For direct service between Stillwell Avenue and Manhattan/Downtown Brooklyn, take the D, N or Q instead.
Transfer between F trains and shuttle buses at Kings Highway.
Transfer between D, N or Q trains and shuttle buses at Stillwell Avenue.
Ditmas Avenue F Train Station Closure and Information.
The Manhattan-bound platform at Ditmas Avenue is closed for renovation until fall 2015.
Travel Alternatives:
For service to Ditmas Avenue, take the F to Church Avenue and transfer to a Coney Island-bound F.
For service from Ditmas Avenue, take the F to 18th Avenue and transfer to a Jamaica-bound F.
