Cops are looking for two women they say conned an old lady out of $6,000 in Dyker Heights last week.

Home security footage obtained by cops shows one of the swindlers approaching their 88-year-old victim Tuesday, June 21, at 12:30pm, near 74th Street and 13th Avenue. The woman convinced the victim that she had found $100,000 in cash on the street, and needed her help in returning the money to a bank, according to the police report.

A second suspect offered to drive the two women to the bank. Once at the bank, the first suspect entered on her own, and when she returned, she told the victim that a bank representative said they could keep the money if they paid taxes on it. She then convinced the victim to give the con artists $6,000 from her bank account to pay the taxes and in exchange they would split the cash with her, say cops.

After the victim gave the suspects the money, they told her to enter the bank and speak to a bank teller, who would finalize the transaction. When the victim entered the bank and requested the bank representative, she was told there was no such person, according to the NYPD. When she left the bank, she found that the two suspects were gone.
