Sheepshead Bay Heroin Addict Arrested For Robbing 77-Year-Old Woman In Her Home, Cops Say
Police arrested a Sheepshead Bay man last week who allegedly assaulted a 77-year-old woman in her home and forced her to turn over an undetermined amount of cash.
Cops say the victim knows her attacker and reported that he has a heroin addiction.
According to the NYPD, 30-year-old Konstantin Sukalin was inside a home on East 18th Street, between Avenue L and Avenue M, when he grabbed and twisted the septuagenarian’s arm to get her to fork over the money. He then fled the location. The woman reported the robbery to the local precinct who issued a notice for his arrest.
Although the wanted poster says Sukalin was born in 1995, an NYPD spokesperson said he is 30 years old and was born in 1985.
Sukalin’s last known address is on Avenue Z, near Haring Street, according to the NYPD. Police say he was arrested on Thursday somewhere inside the 70th precinct, which covers Midwood and Ditmas Park.
