See Work By Kensington Artists Sherry Davis, Jonathan Blum & More At Sunday’s Seventh Heaven Street Fair

No plans in the neighborhood this Sunday? A short walk or a few subway stops away is Seventh Heaven, the annual 7th Avenue street fair that stretches from Flatbush Avenue to 16th Street–and this year, local artists will be in attendance to represent Kensington.

Creative neighbors at the fair will include Jonathan Blum, who paints portraits (both of people and pets!) and Judaica art, and Sherry Davis, whose work can be seen just across Coney Island Avenue at Iglesia Pentecostal. In addition to having originals and prints on hand, Sherry will be offering information on custom portraits.

“We won’t know our specific spots between Carroll and President street on 7th Avenue until set up on Sunday morning,” Sherry says. “However, I count 13 names, including Jonathan’s… It’s my belief that the artists are taking over the block. A lovely thought.”

A lovely thought indeed! Stop by to see neighbors’ incredible works of art on Sunday, and stick around to enjoy food, music, and more.
