Sandbox Pack And Ship Now Offers Mobile Mail Pick-Up

Talk about convenience: Sandbox Pack & Ship (417 Myrtle Avenue) has debuted door-to-door mail pick-up service, making it easier for us to keep up our harried, over-scheduled workday schedules!

In all seriousness, though, the mobile service is incredibly useful for those with limited mobility, such as senior citizens and those who are wheelchair-bound — a clientele that Sandbox is no stranger to working towards supporting, and who inspired this move towards mobility and age-friendly service.

“The impetus for the van was the feedback from seniors and we are committed to doing just that,” said Sandbox owner Stanley Green. “We decided to broaden the vision though, and we’ll accommodate basically any of our neighbors who reside in our local pick up zone and who give us a call.”

The service is available to residents in homes, apartment buildings, and both large and small businesses. They will pick up both packages and mail that are intended to shop anywhere in the world.

Sandbox’s local pick-up zone is Clinton Hill, Fort Greene, and Bed-Stuy. There is a $1.50 out-of-area service fee and mobile pick-up will incur a surcharge depending on the weight of the box.
