San Lucas Mexican Restaurant Opens On 65th Street & 20th Avenue

A new Mexican restaurant has opened on 2006 65th Street, replacing Asian Fusion, which sold sushi and Chinese food under one roof.

San Lucas Mexican Restaurant, which is open 11am to 11pm, is currently offering a grand opening special: 20 percent off all of their food. By the looks of it, the menu offerings are extensive and diverse, from cemitas and quesadillas to grilled cheese sandwiches and burgers.

We’ll have to check it out and see how it compares to longtime neighborhood favorite, La Cemita, which is just around the corner on 20th Avenue.
