Sales Have Begun For Newly Constructed Condo Building On 4th Avenue
GOWANUS – Construction recently wrapped and sales have officially begun for a glassy, new, eleven-story, 36-unit condo building located at 554 4th Avenue on the corner of 15th Street.
Developed by Brookland Capital and designed by Feingold & Gregory Architects, residents can begin moving in by mid-2018, New York YIMBY reports. The building features 37,900 square feet of residential space for 1- and 2-bedroom apartments, as well as 4,750 square feet of ground-floor commercial space. The newly constructed property takes over a pair of three-story wooden houses on 15th Street and three lots that previously housed a corner grocery store on 4th Avenue, according to Brownstoner.
The building’s description on StreetEasy claims each unit features “awe-inspiring Manhattan, East River, Statue of Liberty and sunset views.” Amenities include a roof deck, gym, bike room, package room, and virtual doorman.
If you’d like to take a look in person, four units are having open houses today from 4:30pm to 7pm. Three one-bedroom units on view range in price from $599,000 to $815,000, while a two-bedroom, two-bath is asking $1.39 million.
