Residential Building With Retail Space Going Up at 603 4th Avenue

There’s been flurry of construction work going on for the past few weeks at 603 4th Avenue, between 17th and 18th Streets, which is currently a vacant lot after the three-story wood frame house that had been there previously was demolished earlier this year.

According to the Department of Buildings, a four-story mixed-use building has been approved for the site. The first floor will be used for retail space, while the upper three floors will house six residential apartments.
