Reminder: Tonight Is The Return of Community Board 2 Meetings

Just a reminder that Community Board 2 general meetings return tonight and that instead of being held at one of the usual locations in Brooklyn Hospital, LIU’s Brooklyn campus, or a local church, tonight’s meeting will be in Clinton Hill’s Ryerson Towers at 309 Lafayette Avenue.

The meeting starts at 6pm and on the agenda is recapping the committee updates from the summer on things like transportation, land use, parks, schools, and more. Elected officials or their representatives will also be on hand to talk about their projects and upcoming events.

You can also ask your own questions. Have you ever wanted to complain about the crack in the sidewalk that trips everyone but remains unfixed, or that an intersection seems to be attracting speeding cars, or about overflowing trash cans or people loitering or littering on your property? Do you feel that someone has to do something about this? Then attending CB 2 meetings is for you.
