Reminder: Kensington Meeting About How To Spend Your Tax Dollars Is Tomorrow
If you’re interested in having a say in how your tax dollars are spent, a reminder that you’re invited to attend Councilman Brad Lander’s meeting in Kensington tomorrow evening.
The meeting, which is part of Lander’s participatory budgeting process, will be held at PS 230 (1 Albemarle Road) from 6:30-8:30pm.
During the meeting, you’ll be able to suggest ideas for how to spend the $1.5 million that Lander has set aside for the participatory budget program. Eventually, constituents of the 39th Council District (which includes Kensington and Windsor Terrace) will be allowed to vote on various projects that they’ve recommended.
