Red Sneakered Man Wanted For Snatching Cellphones On Coney Island Boardwalk

Cops are searching for a man wearing bright red sneakers, who they say is wanted for several cellphone robberies that occurred on Coney Island’s Riegelmann Boardwalk recently.
In the first incident, the suspect punched a 25-year-old male victim in the face on the boardwalk and West 19th Street, and made off with his cell phone and headphones on Wednesday July 6, at 2:25am, said police.
On Monday July 18, at around 2:45pm, near West 25th Street, the suspect pushed a 53-year-old woman to the ground and took her cell phone before he fleeing, according to the NYPD
The suspect is described as a black man, 18 to 20 years old, 5 feet 7 inches, with a slim build. He was last seen wearing a black t-shirt, dark colored jeans, and those stop-sign red sneakers. Surveillance footage and photos of the suspect were provided by the NYPD.
