Recycle Old Electronics At Prospect Park’s Upcycle Fest

Didn’t get a chance to drop your old hard drive at last week’s electronics recycling event in front of the Flatbush Food Co-op? Bring them to Upcycle Fest, a two-day collection taking place on Sunday, October 27 and Monday, October 28.

Electronics can be dropped off in different locations across Prospect Park, and items you can bring include all makes and models of cell phones, computers and peripherals like keyboards and mice, TVs, VCRs, and cameras. See the full list of accepted items here, and then drop them off at one of these spots:

Sunday, October 27, 9am-2pm
3rd Street Entrance off Prospect Park West: walk-ins
Willink Entrance: Drive-in drop-offs
Grand Army Plaza safety zone: walk-ins

Monday, October 28, 8am-2pm
3rd Street Entrance off Prospect Park West: walk-ins
Willink Entrance: Drive-in drop-offs
Bartel Pritchard lot: walk-ins

Instead of living forever in a landfill, electronics will be repurposed, with proceeds benefiting the Prospect Park Alliance and City Parks Foundation. 100% of data destruction is guaranteed and the service is HIPAA compliant.
